It is the third year of the English Master Junior competition, an inter-school English competition specially designed for primary school students and organised by the British Council and the Posties section of the South China Morning Post.
Through creative writing, poetry reading and storytelling, students will be able to:
• increase their interest and proficiency in using the English language
• improve their reading, writing, spoken English and presentation skills
• develop life skills such as collaboration, communication and critical thinking.
The competition is open to all primary school students in Hong Kong, with separate categories for Primary 1 to 3 (Lower Primary) and Primary 4 to 6 (Upper Primary).
The winning team in each category will receive a trophy, prizes worth up to HK$6,180 and they will also be recognised as English Masters!
